Ghanaians are at the neck of Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, head pastor of Glorious Word Power Ministries International after a bold declaration that God has entrusted the country to NDC flagbearer John Mahama, speculation about his political allegiance has intensified.
During a meeting with clergy on October 1, 2024, titled “Mahama Fellowships with the Clergy,” he proclaimed that the former president would lead the nation in 2025, asserting that nothing could change this divine mandate.
However, a video of the apostle has surfaced on social media in which he asserts that Mahama will never be president again.
“When God speaks, no one can change His mind. John Mahama can never be president again according to what God told me,” he stated.
This contradictory statement has raised eyebrows, leading many to question his intentions amid rumors of his potential switch from the NPP to the NDC, particularly in light of issues surrounding the governing party, such as galamsey and economic mismanagement.
Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, often seen as an NPP supporter due to his close ties with President Akufo-Addo during his seven-year administration, appears to be shifting his stance as the current administration approaches its final year.
This change has prompted skepticism about his motives, especially considering his previous prophecies of doom for Mahama during the 2020 elections.
