Founder and Presidential Candidate for the All People’s Congress, Dr. Hassan Ayariga has bemoaned the current voting patterns in Ghana, says Ghanaians are voting for people with more money than brains.
Hassan Ayariga a member of the 12 Presidential candidates seeking to become the next president shares the worrying part of the current trend of voting within the country. He says the way the pattern has shifted from policies, brains and visions is becoming a gradual disaster looming in the faces of the citizens and might attack the future of the country.
He mentioned that, if such voting canker does not end, it only predicts a future less Ghana for the next generation which he described as a sad situation. He also added that, the projection also showcases a disenfranchising future for the next crop of leaders who may have the zeal and brains to lead the country but do not have money to indulge into vote buying.
He further called on such acts to end so the future of the country’s leadership and governance can be attained and achieved on a good precedent not on money sharing and vote buying.
