Former Supreme Court Judge Justice William Atuguba has said the youth in Ghana have no right to marry due to economic hardships in the country.
Speaking on TV3’S Ghana tonight program, the former supreme court Judge said, “I get frightened on social media you find tanker drivers say they are paid 700 cedis, uber drivers 300 cedis this people have been sentenced to death how can you survive on this, you have no right to marry because you can’t sustain the marriage”.
He lamented further that 700 cedis is not even enough for yourself, how will one pay his rent, “Ghanaian are so money minded, rents are high, landlord’s disregards for rent regulations taking three years in advance”.
A person earning 300 and 700 cedis how can that person survive on this, he questioned.
