A Ghanaian young man has lost millions of Ghanaian Cedis in cash to a fire outbreak in his house, calls for support.
A video circulating has captured a young Ghanaian man in an uncontrollable mode while his saved Ghanaian Cedis cash has been touched by a house fire. In the video, the owner of the money appeared helpless while family and friends poured out the money which was tied in a black polythene bag.
The bizarre part of the video is how only parts of the currency notes were all burnt beyond salvaging. It appears the bags that contained the moneys were smeared by the fire flames leaving significant parts of the notes touched by the fire and burnt beyond acceptance by any transaction.
The incident which occurred on November 21, 2024 has currently rendered the owner of the house helpless and restless as the fired has damaged his house and spared him not of his home savings. Friends and families who surrounded him to salvage some of the money found it difficult to get enough as over millions of Cedis appeared gone.
They called on well-meaning Ghanaians and political Actors to come to the aid of the young guy since his life savings are now gone under his eyes. The video has attracted so many reactions on
social media as they question why he would keep such an amount of money in his when there is a bank.
