Administrative work is expected to resume today in all various public universities following the suspension of the nationwide strike by the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA).
According to a communiqué issued by the University Administrators, the suspension is to allow for further engagement with the Government on outstanding conditions of service concerns.
GAUA on September 18, 2024, embarked on a nationwide strike due to the failure of the government to approve payment of some negotiated allowances and to address a number of outstanding conditions of service concerns of its members.
