Kofi Amoabeng, the former Chief Executive Officer of the defunct UT Bank has stated that Ghanaians are generally not good people.
According to Kofi Amoabeng, the only way God can punish Ghanaians is to give them a bad leader like the Israelites in the Bible who were in bondage for over 435 years.
In an interview circulating on social media, he stated, “Generally, Ghanaians are not good people, let’s accept it, sometimes we are evil, we hate people for no reason, we are jealous about people, we are not honest when you are dealing with people in business whatever, we like corruption, we have been corrupted and we get into all sorts of things”.
“When people are that bad God will not bail them out, the only way for God to punish them is to give them a bad leader, who will make sure that things do not happen for them, cause you see the Israelites were bondage for over 435 years I hear if you read the bible, so God looked at them so-called God’s chosen people, 435 years yet he sat somewhere and I said you guys learn some lessons before he bailed them out and took them to the promised land that is the Bible” he added.
Kofi Amoabeng further reiterated, “But I believe when people are not doing what is right and what’s not pleasing to their creator, the creator will not just dote on them he needs them to learn bitter lessons and the way to let them learn bitter lessons is to give them a leader who will wish waters are bitter for them”.
