Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso, a 40 year
old legal practitioner and former hiplife artist, is now the running mate for Independent presidential aspirant John Kwadwo Alan Kyerematen for the 2024 elections.

1. Hiplife Star
Danso, then known as Echo Elijah, as part of Echo group, contributed to hit songs like Gologolo and Shikome. He pursued a solo career under the name E-Nice after the group separated in 2021.
2. Reality TV Breakthrough
Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso came into the spotlight in 2008 as a contestant on Ghana’s edition of the Nescafe African Revelation competition. He was part of the hiplife group Echo, which won the competition and found some success in the local music industry.
3. Called to the Bar
Danso was called to the Ghana Bar last year together with over 1,000 new lawyers, including prominent figures such as Minister of Foreign Affairs Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey and NLA Director-General Samuel Awuku.
4. Married to Kwesi Pratt Jr.’s Daughter
Danso in 2015, married Maame Ama Pratt, daughter of veteran journalist Kwesi Pratt Jr. Maame Ama Pratt is a television host on Pan African TV and CEO of M.A.P Concepts Ghana, organisers of the Obaasima Summit.

Danso is currently the host for Good Morning Africa, a current affairs and political talk show on Pan African TV, where he blends his background in law, media, and activism to speak on national issues.

Danso built a career in public relations before moving into politics, working as a PR Consultant for Empire Builders, the developers of Trasacco Valley, and other corporate entities in Ghana.
