John Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, has made a bold statement regarding the upcoming elections, asserting that he won’t engage in a debate with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s vice president and flagbearer.
‘’emphatically that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is losing this year’s election and that he will not elevate him to his level by debating me’’.
At a rally in Prampram, Mahama emphasized that Bawumia doesn’t deserve the platform, suggesting that the vice president should address issues affecting citizens, like unpaid allowances for nurses and high costs for fishermen, instead of debating him.
Mahama criticized the current administration, claiming that they inherited a robust economy from the NDC in 2017 but have since led it to decline over the past eight years.
He even suggested that President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia could write a book on how to ruin an economy, targeting their governance as detrimental to the country’s financial health.
