Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, presidential candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP), has strongly criticized President John Mahama, accusing him of overseeing widespread corruption that only benefits his close associates rather than the ordinary Ghanaian.
Speaking at the unveiling of her running mate for the upcoming elections, Mrs. Rawlings argued that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) under Mahama’s leadership has no moral authority to claim they are transforming lives when their officials are busy enriching themselves while the majority of Ghanaians suffer.
She attributed the ongoing economic decline and other challenges facing Ghana to the actions of the current government and urged voters to reject Mahama and the NDC in the upcoming elections.
According to her, granting the NDC another term in office would be detrimental to the country’s progress.
