President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has been given the nod by FIFA to contest for a third term.
This was confirmed by President of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Kudjoe Fianoo
He however disclosed that the approval is conditional, and premised on the various football clubs in the country agreeing to it.
Kurt Okraku who is currently serving his second term as the Ghana Football Association president has submitted a proposal to FIFA to allow him to seek for another four year term when his current term expires.
Kudjoe Fianoo who is against this proposal in an interview said, “FIFA has given a conditional approval for Kurt Okraku’s third term bid but are afraid to come out with it because things aren’t well now. FIFA says if the clubs approve it, they will also add their signature to it but i will speak against it because we reward success and not failure.”
