Ghanaian socialite cum musician, Efia Odo, is trending on social media following news of her being sacked from Eats Avenue, a restaurant she claimed months ago that she owned 40% shares in.
In a tweet she made earlier today, Efia warned, “I am no longer affiliated with Eats Avenue. Eat at your own risk. Thank you”.
With this new update, netizens have expressed their confusion over how a business owner can be sacked from her own establishment. The socialite however, is yet to give an explanation of the matter.
A lot of conversation brewed up earlier this year after Efia Odo announced that she had opened her own restaurant named Eats Avenue. Many people argued and questioned whether she owned the establishment or if she had only signed a partnership with the owners.
She consistently maintained that she owned the place and further dared unbelievers to check with the Registrar-General to confirm that the business registration had her name on it.
