EC does not control who win elections, Ghanaians do – Jean Mensa

The Electoral Commission (EC) Chairperson, Jean Mensa has said the commission do not have the power to determine who wins elections.

In a media press briefing on Friday, EC Chair stated, “We as a commission do not have the power to determine who wins elections. It is not in our control to determine the outcome of the election. The power indeed lies with the good people of our dear country”.

Jean Mensa further added that the candidate who is given the power to lead Ghanaians will be declared president of Ghana by the Electoral commission on 7th December.
