Founder of the Groupe Ndoum and Progressive People’s Party, Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum has taken a swipe at the governing NPP, saying Ghanaians should avoid voting for a party that will collapse indigenous businesses.
The Former Railways Minister under the Kufuor Administration during the first term of the Akufo-Addo government, saw his GN Bank across the country being involved in the Financial sector clean ups, which saw a number of banks being collapsed.
During an interview with the media after commissioning an educational facility for the people of Abeyie, the former presidential candidate stressed that, politics is done or practiced for the good of the people and not the opposite of it. He opined that, his comments are not directed at a particular political party, even though it was clear which party he targeted with his comment.
According to him, politics is not done to collapse businesses that belongs to indigenes that ends up in getting people unemployed and unhealthy. He advised that, with thirteen days left to queue up and vote, Ghanaians should aim at voting against any political party who has the record of collapsing Ghanaian owned businesses and rendering people jobless.
He further emphasized that, the growth of the economy is dependent on the candidate who has demonstrated that, he will help and support indigenous Ghanaian businesses to be firm and to do well. He also called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the Progressive People’s Party’s Parliamentary candidates in their respective constituencies.
