Internet and TikTok sensation, Agado Waakye has revealed that after several months of working and promoting songs for music duo, Dope Nation, they only gave paid him GH₵2000.
The young guy who rose to fame with a popular and viral sound track that was added to his name, blew up even more when the music duo captured into his trend and moment to highlight him while promoting their new banger and hit single, ‘zormizor’. He has shared to Kwaku Manu in an interview that after all the rounds and promotions he did, using his platforms, he only got GH₵2000 from them.
He revealed how he had rejected lucrative business proposals from various entities just to promote the song for the music group only to be paid a meagre fee, which he expressed as not appreciative enough. He also added that his own show bookings were cancelled just because he believed he would have gotten more money while on tours and promotion trains with the music group but he now regrets them.
The young Internet sensation further said, he has through the experience gathered from Dope Nation’s treatment, learnt his lessons and plans to effectively listen to managerial advises as to how to do business in the showbiz and creative Arts industry. He is now being featured in YouTube skits and movies to keep his acting passion alive as well.
