Staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Agya Koo, has advised the party and its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to intensify its campaign efforts in the rural part of Ghana.
According to the actor, the NPP is not doing all in its power to break the 8.
Addressing the party in a video, he stated, “Everyone says we should work hard to get the NPP in power but where the groups or the people we’re using to reach Ghanaians in rural areas.”
In a visit to the Western Region a while back, Agya Koo narrated how he saw the opposition using motorbikes and other resources to campaign in the region’s most remote parts.
“So, I went to Western region a while back and I saw motorbikes and the resources the people we are contenting with are using to engage the people and the grassroots, but where is the NPP in all this? Where are the identified groups working for the NPP?” he queried.
He pleaded with the party’s bigwigs and leaders to take action now, and hit the ground running for the party to achieve its mission of breaking the 8.
