Ghanaian comedian, DKB has taken a swipe at persons labeling the 24-hour economy policy proposed by the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama as a joke.
DKB recently shared a skit portraying how the 24-hour economy will lead to banks operating twenty-four (24) hours a day with Ghanaians being able to cash cheques at any time of the day.
The video received criticism from many, with one Dr. Ekua Amoakoh calling the skit “inefficient and redundant”, asking why the money was not transferred via any of the numerous digital interoperability platforms.
DKB who did not take this comment lightly responded, “Your daft response is why they choose PASSPORT over phd. The darn video is about someone paid with a damn CHEQUE & must cash it, are U the one to tell his payer how to disburse the payment? Your unintelligent response shows you don’t do anything formal to receive any cheque.”

I saw this ad on air of a party promising to have commercial banks opening 24hrs to allow people to go to the bank at 2am to transact business. I was assuming it was fake. But, apparently it is not! This is the 4th Industrial Revolution, for crying out loud! Please ask bankers. pic.twitter.com/Oa8U3Cnhiu

For the politically blinded shallow minds.
This skit is centred on ability to cash a fucken CHEQUE at dawn in 24hour economy spots.
If you EQUATE it to momo, bank app transactions, atm etc, you & common sense are obviously not on talking terms.
U need a damn RESET! dumbo! https://t.co/9SsFDNTG4a
