Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has fired Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh for blatantly spreading lies at his campaign event.
In a video which has since gone viral, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP), running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo) claimed the NDC planned to introduce a pro-LGBTGQ curriculum. He claimed Okudzeto Ablakwa was in charge of the curriculum, leading stakeholder engagements to get the said curriculum accepted and taught in “our schools. They said teachers should teach our children about homosexuality,” Napo claimed.
Reacting to the video, Okudzeto Ablakwa outrightly condemned Napo, describing his comments as falsehood.
According to the lawmaker, the NPP’s campaign of the elections had failed, and Napo’s “desperate concoctions and outright falsehoods would not revive the failed Bawumia/Napo campaign.”
Okudzeto Ablakwa further challenged Napo to produce the pro-LGBTQ curriculum he (Napo) claims he (Okudzeto) prepared.
When you say a prayer, please say one for Napo. He really needs help.
I challenge him to produce the pro-LGBTQ curriculum he claims I prepared.
I also challenge him to provide the names of pastors and imams who went round the country with me promoting LGBTQ.
