Although in custody and being manhandled by the Police, Democracy Hub demonstrators are not backing down.
In a video which has since gone viral, a demonstrator who was being transported back to jail after a court hearing, can be heard encouraging Ghanaians not to give up on the fight for their rights.
The young man emphatically stated that the only crime he was guilty of was the crime of exercising his civic duty.
“Let the records show, I committed no crime,” the unidentified man was heard saying and banging on the police vehicle.
“Let the records show that I have committed no crime. If you see me fight for your rights. Fight for your rights,” he kept chanting as the bus drove off.
