The group known as Democracy Hub has fire back at the Ghana Police Service for describing them as “unGhanaian”.
“The police’s attempt to label our actions as unGhanaian, uncivil, and unlawful; is not only disrespectful but also disregards our fundamental right to hold our leaders accountable”, their press statement read.
In a press statement issue on Sunday, September 22, leaders stated they find it alarming that the police have framed their peaceful demonstration as a matter of public disorder.
The group further denied Ghana Police Service assertions of engaging in an unlawful act, including blocking intersections, setting fires, or harassing road users.
