Ghanaian musician Darkovibes, has addressed and clarified false reports regarding his use of ‘weed’.
In an interview on 3FM Drive, on October 1st he explained that he and some other artists smoke weed for recreational purposes and to entertain and cool themselves during recording sessions.
According to him, some reports have misinterpreted his comments to suggest he smokes weed backstage before performances.
In an interview with Giovanni on Saturday he said, “Should in case you guys read it somewhere that I said I smoke backstage before I go on stage, I didn’t say that. I said I don’t walk around with substances that are illegal because of course I am a lawful citizen and I abide by the law”.
Darkovibes is currently promoting his six-track EP, ‘Intercontinental’.
One of the songs, ‘Bie Esor’ features Richkid and Fadlan. The EP, released on Friday, September 27, includes the tracks ‘Wi-Fi’, ‘Bend Your Knees’, ‘Bie Esor’, ‘Run With My Heart’, ‘Missionary’ and ‘Stage’.
