The Accra High Court has today sentenced a 47-year-old Burkinabe, Boigouna Aloys, to life imprisonment.
Boigouna Aloys was found guilty by the court of murdering his German wife and daughter.
According to reports, the convict was said to have used a hammer to strike 53-year-old Cludia Weizmann, his late wife.
Sensing that their 14-year-old daughter will report the matter to the police he strangled her to death.
The incident, according to information gathered occurred at Kokrobitey in Accra.
The convict who was 43 years old when the incident happened according to the police report buried the two on their 10-pot land a Kokrobitey in Accra, but neighbors started smelling a foul stench which led to the convict’s arrest by the Police.
The Burkinabe married a German woman in Germany and the two decided to move to Ghana to resettle in 2020.
The convict has since confessed to the crime and was convicted after a seven-member jury panel returned a unanimous guilty verdict against him.
