Members of the clergy have prophesied victory for John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the upcoming elections, referring to him as “the chosen one.” This affirmation came during a prayer session where the clergy described Mahama as a man with a kind heart.
The gathering, which took place this morning, was initiated by Mahama himself, who invited various church leaders to pray for him and share his vision for the country ahead of the December elections.
The event brought together a diverse group of clergy from multiple denominations, including Catholic, Pentecostal, Charismatic, and spiritual churches, highlighting a united front among religious leaders in their support for the former president.
During his address, Mahama expressed his joy at the turnout of the clergy, emphasizing the vital role spiritual leaders’ play in guiding the nation.
He acknowledged the challenges facing the country and reiterated his commitment to working tirelessly with his team if elected back into office.
