Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi has been exposed by some members of his party for failing to construct roads in the region despite receiving payments.
In a press conference the unknown NPP members mention listed some number roads in the Ashanti region Chairman Wontumi has failed to construct.
“He has to come and tell us where the road contract is and why he has not constructed the road, if someone will vote for the party it is not about the number of voters, it is about the roads that you will construct that people will use to vote”.
They noted that Chairman Wontumi is destroying the party claiming 20% of the 1 constituency $1 million has been taken by him with no constituency receiving any amount. “Polling station agents’ money where is our 20%?” they asked.
The group however acknowledged Kennedy Agyapong for buying about 700 pickups for the party.
