Manchester United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes become a hero on a flight headed to Lisbon when he his quick thinking saved a passenger’s life.
The Portuguese international was on board an EasyJet flight with team mate Diogo Dalot enroute to join the Portuguese national team in Lisbon when the incident happened.
Bruno Fernandes suddenly noticed a man fainting at the back of the plane and suddenly rushed to his side, screaming, “Excuse me! We need help! Excuse me! We need help!”
Members of the crew upon hearing his screams rushed to help. Bruno helped the man into a seat in the back, and stayed there with him, making sure he was okay.
“It might have been about 5-10 minutes and then he made his way back to his seat but again very unassuming. He wasn’t looking for any attention on himself,” co-passenger Susanna Lawson said.
