A group of youth have clashed with the Ghana Police Service at the Kanda Highway.
The chaotic scenes unfolded at the Kawukudi intersection as unaffiliated youths engage in fiery clashes with police.
In a video posted by Joy Fm, the youth group could be seen on motorbikes some in heated discussion with some police officers and others being pushed back by personnels of the Police Service.
The youth group however managed to toss aside some police barricades and breached the police roadblock at the intersection by the Ghana Police Service proceeding to wherever they were heading to.
It is yet to be known if this youth group are part of the Concerned Citizens Anti-Galamsey protest with hundreds of demonstrators marching from Okponglo to Parliament House, demanding action against illegal mining.
