A chaotic scene has erupted in Ashaiman as NPP executives and party supporters clashed over 2 million Ghana cedis and party T-shirts.
The NPP presidential candidate for the 2024 election, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, along with his running mate NAPO, are expected to visit the constituency today.
In a video shared on X, a narrator alleged that 2 million Ghana cedis and 5,000 T-shirts had been brought for distribution among party faithful. However, with the money reportedly missing, this led to a fistfight between the Ashaiman NPP executives and party supporters in the constituency.
