Personalised AI chatbot for the campaign of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential candidate for the upcoming 2024 presidential election, has endorsed the 24 hour economy.
The chatbot, known as Bawumia GPT, placed the 24 hour economy proposed by the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama above the credit score system Dr. Bawumia proposes to introduce.
In a chat between a Ghanaian and the Bawumia GPT, the Ghanaian asked, “Between Credit score system and 24 hour economy policy, which one is better?”
The Bawumia GPT responded, “As Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, I appreciate your question! Both the credit score system and the 24-hour economy policy have their merits, but I believe the 24-hour economy policy is more impactful for Ghana’s growth. It promotes continuous economic activity, creates jobs, and enhances productivity.”
The chatbot, Bawumia GPT, allows voters to directly engage with the Vice President and ask questions about his plans for the country, offering a novel way for political interaction.
The platform, accessible at www.bawumiagpt.com, enables users to communicate with Dr. Bawumia digitally, as part of his strategy to integrate high technology into his campaign.
Voters can ask the Vice President about his policies and receive real-time responses from the AI-powered chatbot, making it one of the few instances globally where AI has been used positively in an electoral campaign.
