Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the vice president of Ghana is set to launch a credit scoring system in October 2024.

During a campaign event in Assin Fosu, he indicated the potential of the credit secoring system to help economic growth and help create employment.
“This system will open up new opportunities for individuals and small businesses to access credit, which in turn will drive economic growth and job creation.” He stated.
He added that the proposal will help the nation transform from a cash-based economy to one that advances credit use to help small businesses and young entrepreneurs.
