A social media user has revealed that the vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has launched close to 20 apps totaling $250m with nothing to show for them.
According to Albert Nat Hyde, commonly known as Bongo Ideas the economic Wizkid Dr. Bawumia has all of sudden become an app launcher with close to 20 apps launched by him.
Bongo Ideas also alleged that all the apps put together have aggregated costs of over $250 million excluding several electronic platforms that have been created for almost every sector.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on numerous occasions, touted and presented himself as a champion of digitalization in Ghana.
The NPP flagbearer is currently campaigning on digitalization as one of his achievements going into the 2024 election.
Once touted as the economic Wizkid in opposition, Dr. Bawumia is now known by many Ghanaians as Mr. Digital in government.
