The Overlord of the Kusaug Traditional Area, Naba Asigri Abugrago Azoka II, has directed that all offices of the Municipal and District Assemblies in the Kusaug region remain open to carry out government business.
The directive follows reports that violence had led to the closure of several offices, including those of the Bawku Municipal, Binduri, and Bawku West District Assemblies.
In a statement signed by David Adoliba, Secretary to the Zug-Raan, the traditional leader urged workers from all government departments and agencies to carry out their daily responsibilities without fear or interference.
He specifically warned that no one should obstruct the operations of government agencies or departments.
“It has come to the attention of His Royal Majesty, the Zug-Raan of Kusaug, Naba Asigri Abugrago Azoka II that some persons have caused offices of the Municipal and District Assemblies in the Kusaug Traditional Area to be closed.
These include Bawku Municipal, Binduri, and Bawku West District Assemblies,”
‘’The Zug-Raan hereby directs that, all offices of the assemblies in the entire Kusaug should remained opened to perform Government Business and workers of all government departments and agencies should freely attend to their daily responsibilities.
Thus, nobody should interfere in the operations of any Government agencies or Department’’. The statement read.
