Barcelona is in a state of confusion as to whether to intensify their interest in Mohammed Salah or stall any interest in the player.
According to sources, there have been concerns about the future of Lamine Yamal should the club sign Mohammed Salah from Liverpool.
Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires next summer, and he (Salah) recently intensified speculations that his future at the club has come to an end. He revealed he feels “more out than in” at Liverpool.
The 32-year-old won’t be short of suitors, with a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia on the table, and Barcelona showing interest in the player.
As Barcelona sets its sights on Salah their attention has been drawn to the fact that the club already has one of the world’s finest right wingers, Lamine Yamal.
Some of the club’s officials have deemed Salah’s signing as unnecessary saying it will be of a superior advantage to the club to keep and nurture Yamal who is 15 years younger than Salah.
The uncertainty of Salah’s future at Liverpool has however not worried the club’s manager, Arne Slot as he is focused on getting the player score more goals and win the Premiership.
