The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Andrews Augustus Nana Kwasi, has challenged the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to provide evidence of the public toilet facilities he promised to construct.
Speaking in Achiase during the NDC’s National Chairman’s campaign tour of the Ashanti region, Nana Kwasi highlighted that nearly every community they visited expressed the need for public toilet facilities.
This situation, he asserted, raises concerns about the fulfillment of a promise made by the Vice President and NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, during the 2016 general elections.
Nana Kwasi urged Dr. Bawumia to stop spreading falsehoods as he campaigns in the Ashanti region, emphasizing that the residents are too discerning to be swayed by his unfulfilled promises.
He also encouraged party members to protect their votes in the upcoming general elections on December 7, to ensure a decisive victory for their flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
He mentioned that Donald Trump’s victory and return to the White House in the United States would have a positive influence on the December elections, expressing confidence in John Mahama’s victory in the December polls.
