Ghanaian comedian DKB has reacted to angry Ga-Dangme’s group calling on the Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress John Mahama to retract his comments.
According to DKB as a proud Ga – Adangbe who was at Okaikoi South there was nothing malicious about what John Mahama said.
John Mahama Speaking to NDC supporters in the Ablekuma South Constituency, as part of his tour of the Greater Accra region to canvass for votes, the former President said Gas and Dangmes only need Kenkey and fish to survive, not digitization as promoted by Dr. Bawumia.
Mahama said, “They will digitalize the kenkey. Does that mean you will eat digitization? But I know, by the grace of God, we will not eat digital kenkey. We eat real kenkey and fried fish”.
John Mahama’s comments have not been well-received by Ga youth, who insist that the Gas and Dangmes are disappointed in the comments, and he must retract them.
Reacting to the issue, DKB took to his X page and wrote, “I can swear on my life, I expect a sound that will complement their issue but none. I was actually there live in okaikoi South & there was nothing malicious about what he JM said”.
DKB further stated that he is a proud Ga-Adangbe and sees no error in what John Mahama said but asserted that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia should be the one offended.

If anything, Dr. Bawumia should be the one offended. https://t.co/23TNjUSBrR
