Following the recent reports of an identified NPP campaign vehicle that was caught up in flames in the Jaman North Constituency, another campaign vehicle has been lit up in flames again.
Barely a week after Yawanews.com reported that an NPP vehicle in Jaman North has been burnt to ashes, another report coming from the same NPP camp indicates another car burn. The video captures a burning vehicle with the pictures and stickers of Sammy Awuku.
The incident is reported to have occurred in the Akuapem North Constituency where the Managing Director of the National Lottery Authority is seeking to represent the people in the ninth Parliament next year. The campaign pick up vehicle caught fire while en-route the Koforidua road on November, 22, 2024.
Residents watched as the Vehicle and the large music speakers mounted in its trunk burnt gradually into ashes.
The video did not capture any recorded casualty or death. No actual cause for the vehicle fire has been reported since the incidence occurred in the Akuapem North Constituency. This becomes a second time a campaign vehicle is getting burnt while on its way to campaign, it is uncertain what the causes can be as no one from the NPP has attended to the issue or communicated on it yet.
