One of the two Chinese contractors who were arrested by some residents of Kasoa for causing the explosion that led to death of three people with injuries to 39 others has been attacked.
According to reports, the contractor in charge of the construction of the Winneba-Kasoa highway is Fairmount Company Limited, reports suggest they regularly blast some rocks impeding their work with regular announcements to residents.
However, yesterday, the company refused to announce the schedule and went ahead to blast the rocks without the knowledge of the community members.
In a viral post on social media X, some residents of Kasoa picked up two Chinese contractors with some residents holding sticks they angry residents wanted to lynch the Chinese men for causing the death of three people with injuries to 39 others with their explosion.
one of the Chinese contractors was attacked by an angry resident who whacked his head with a stick fortunately for him he was in a helmet but still felt to the ground.
