Liverpool’s right back, Trent Alexander-Arnold, continues to reject contract renewal offers from the club.
With the defender’s deal expiring in the summer of 2025, Alexander-Arnold, has rejected all approaches to renew his contract as he desires to exit Anfield, which will be a big blow to Liverpool as it has been having a difficult time renewal contracts with most of their stars.
Liverpool has given up hope on locking down Alexander-Arnold, and is now looking at selling him to Real Madrid.
The defender has been heavily linked to Madrid as he looks to join his friend and England team mate, Jude Bellingham.
Real Madrid is also open to the idea of signing Alexander-Arnold in January after losing their captain and current right-back Dani Carvajal for the season due to an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.
However, the right-back (Alexander-Arnold) is reportedly making the move ‘impossible’ as he wants to ‘leave in the best possible way, with titles and not in the middle of the season’.
