Alan Kyerematen, Presidential Candidate for the Movement for Change has mentioned that, in case or comparing and contrasting him and the Vice President, he has got much work experience to become a President.
Reacting to President Kufuor’s endorsement of Dr. Bawumia, Alan Cash as he popularly called felt that it was wrong of his former boss to overlook his experience and come at a judgment that Bawumia is fit over the 13 candidates in the Presidential race. Alan mentioned that, he feels disappointed at the news but he only has nothing to do about it than to leave it to the judgment of Ghanaians.
According to him, 70% of President Kufuor’s policies during his two terms as Ghana’s President were from him Alan Kyerematen which is widely known within the ranks and file of the NPP. He said the President before he nominated him, Alan to become his Trades and Industry Minister, knew his worth. He stressed that, the President as the time knew how much of a value he brought to the table when he nominated him.
He questioned where the Former President met Dr. Bawumia and what experience the Vice President has over him. He emphasized that, he has the best record when he is to be compared to Dr. Bawumia. He could not come to terms with how a person whom everyone thought he was his favourite will choose Bawumia who has nothing to show for in the experience books over him who has a proven track record.
