Broadcast Journalist Kwaku Annan has claimed President Akufo-Addo wants to kill Ghanaians due to his failure to protect the river bodies in Ghana.
According to Kwaku Annan, water is life so the president’s failure to protect the water bodies means he wants to kill Ghanaians.
Speaking on his show called The Frontline, he said, “Water is life so your inability to protect our water, what it means you want to kill Ghanaians so softly and so beautifully”.
He further went on to admonish the President to leave a good legacy, saying “Akufo-Addo leave a good legacy for Ghana, your time is already short, so leave a good legacy you are in your 80s, and you are destroying the rivers in Ghana and cutting the trees”.
Meanwhile, in a press statement dated yesterday, October 9, 2024, the President directed the Minister for Defense to deploy additional military forces to intensify the ongoing “Operation Halt”, which aims to curb illegal mining activities.
President Akufo-Addo also expressed his commitment to end illegal mining and called on all Ghanaians to unite in the fight.
