Award-winning Ghanaian actor Alexander Kofi Adu, professionally known as Agya Koo, has cautioned Ghanaian social media influencer and activist based in the USA Twene Jonas to tread carefully.
In a recent interview, he disclosed his displeasure with how the Ghanaian USA based activist talks about elders in Ghana and insults them.
According to him, he knew Twene Jonas when he was back in Ghana and he even worked for him as his employee before traveling to the United States.
“I’ve worked with him before, he used to sell CD’s for me before he traveled but now he feels big and feels like he’s arrived so he says what he wants” Agya Koo said.
He told Twene Jonas to be careful because everything he is doing now and everywhere he is roaming now, he (Agya Koo) had been there before.
“He should also remember that what goes around, surely comes around. I don’t want to say anything to him that I’ll later regret because I know more than he does. He should ask about me in New York each time I visit the USA that’s where I’m based. I’ve been to Dallas, Chicago all over so I’m very well known in that area. He should ask of me” the actor emphasized.
Agya Koo warned the influencer to be mindful of what he says especially about elders.
“If he wants to say something to benefit the country he should go ahead and do so. He can also go ahead to hold leaders accountable if he wants to but he should
not insult them because if you insult Agya Koo or any prominent person people will watch immediately and you’ll get your $500 at the end of the month which you’ll use $200 or $300 to sleep in a motel not even hotel at the end of the day” he noted.
Agya Koo strongly believes that no Ghanaian based in the USA will accept to accommodate Twene Jonas because he’s a troublemaker.
“By accommodating a troublemaker automatically means you’re inviting trouble for yourself. No one will want to stay with him so he should be careful” he advised.
