Veteran Ghanaian actor, Agya Koo, has denied claims of he growing proud and being difficult to work with.
According to him, the numerous people he has worked with and know him are well aware of such a down to earth person he is.
“You want Ghanaians to say I am pride, but people know that’s not who I am. When I go to location, I eat and play with everyone,” he indicated.
Agya Koo also addressed rumours of his pride leading him to over charge movie directors. The veteran revealed that at the time, the maximum he charged for roles at his peak was Ghc4,000 before it increased to Ghc5,000.
“The producer who claims I charge a lot or charged them Ghc10,000 for a role should come out,” he dared, clarifying that he had only charged one producer, Kwesi Nyamekye a high amount when he took him oversees to shoot a movie.
