Fiifi Ofori Atta has vehemently criticized the current state of Ghana’s economy, blaming Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia for creating a mess of the nation’s economy.
The leading member of Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change was very angry at the Vice President for refusing to act now to salvage the economy, rather than promising to fix the country’s economy when he is elected as President.
“The economy is worse…it is so bad. The economy is so bad, we have never experienced anything of such. What is Bawumia even bringing on board. Look at the mess created and he said when he comes (he is voted as President) this is what he will do. Why not do it today and stop focusing on digitization?” he asked in an interview with Dek360 Ghana.
According to Fiifi Ofori Atta, the digitization drive Dr. Bawumia is even touted for is the work of his Executive Secretary, Augustine Blay which the Vice President is taking credit for.
Ghana’s economic situation is worsening by the day as inflation has risen, with cost of living, especially food attributing to this increase. The cedi has also depreciated woefully, and is steady losing value to other trading currencies.
According to the Junior brother of the President of Ghana; Nana Akufo-Addo; Dr. Fiifi Ofori Atta, his brother has done worse and has failed.
