President Akufo-Addo has mocked the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) 24-hour economy policy calling it a 24-hour discotheque.
Speaking during the President’s tour of the Northern regions in Ghana, President Akufo-Addo was touting the presidential candidate of the NPP Dr. Bawumia to the residents when he mocked the NDC 24-hour economy,
According to President Akufo-Addo Ghana cannot be developed with a 24-hour discotheque.
He said, “This is not somebody who is coming with a 24-hour economy, when you are asked what the 24-hour economy is, it turns out that it means 24-hour discotheque, 24-hour discotheque that is how we are going to develop Ghana”.
President Akufo-Addo added that Ghana needs a serious person in the Office of the President, like Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
“We need a serious man in the office of President, so I have come here asking for all of us to work together so that on the 7th of December the very worthy son of Mamprugu Mahamudu Bawumia is declared the next president of Ghana”, Akufo-Addo reiterated.
