According to reports, the incident occurred after a Bolt driver entered the school for a pickup. The school authorities conducted a random search of the vehicle and discovered the two students.

In the viral video, one of the students was dressed in a blue dress, while the other was in a scanty top.

In the video, some person was heard saying, “Video them, look at one of them with an anklet. Shame! Come out! What at all do you want in this world? Let them be brought before the assembly so everyone will see and hear what they did,” the staff member is heard saying.

The driver has also been fingered to be involved in the scheme by the student, with some school authorities alleging the driver has been coming to pick up the students, suggesting a pattern of recurrent misconduct.

“Don’t let the car drive away. The driver usually comes and takes them out of the school.”

Meanwhile, the school authorities have yet to release an official statement on the incident.

Some Ghanaians have, however, reacted to the video by saying, “This is what happens when authorities mistake disciplining students with torture and backing it with some indoctrinated kind of child rights.. it’s so pathetic, the coming generations might suffer from scum bug being their leaders”.

“Starting from now, the security guards at the gate will begin inspecting car trunks/boots”, another stated.

Another Ghanaian added, “We are soo quick to humiliate people with this new era of recording every shit … the internet never forgets. These things were happening back in the days, just that there were no cameras to record it. They can reprimand them without disgracing them like this. F*kn idiots want to record every”.

One more netizen added, “You want to disgrace them in front of the whole school at assembly, then it becomes very hard for them to walk around campus in shame. This is one of the reasons why some young ones commit suicide. This form of punishment must stop”.
