The Accra Regional Police Command has announced the arrest of two persons in connection with the Ablekuma North violence on Friday, July 11, 2025.
On Wednesday, July 23, a statement by Supt. Juliana Obeng, Head of Public Affairs for the Accra Region, revealed the identities of the suspect.
The suspects have been identified as Musah, a 46-year-old Station Manager at STC, and Ali Saeed, also known as Mboma, a 43-year-old businessman.
According to the Police statement, both suspects are currently assisting police with investigations.
The Police Service further assured the public that perpetrators of election-related violence, intimidation, or misconduct would face justice and would be brought to book.
Superintendent Juliana Obeng, in an earlier statement, emphasised that they are examining several videos capturing assaults and disturbances.
The police revealed that the assaulted victims have been issued Police Medical Report Forms.

Despite the number of police officers at the scene, they were unable to prevent the chaos.
In a different place, NPP’s Chris Lloyd Nii Kwei Asamoah was also assaulted.
Banahene Agyekum, a journalist with GH One Television, was also slapped during the re-run of the parliamentary elections in Ablekuma North.
