Mustapha Gbande, the deputy General Secretary for the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), has cried out about some appointees in the Mahama-led government.
According to Mustapha Gbande, some people refused to campaign but are today holding appointments.
Mustapha Gbande further claimed that some ministers in the Mahama government are rubbishing the NDC party leadership.
He boldly claimed he had records of individuals whom he called to join campaigns, but they refused to.
Speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM, Mustapha Gbande detailed, “There are people who never went anywhere, but today they are holding appointments. When we were campaigning, there were people I called to go to this area and campaign, but they didn’t go. Today, they are ministers, and nobody is talking, and they have the effrontery to rubbish party leaders”.
He added that “When we were working throughout the night for the party, there were people who went to the Ashanti Region and did nothing but come and report lies to the president. They did not do anything. We’ve gone through all of this, and so if you don’t know how to say thank you, keep quiet. They did the same to me. They sponsored people to insult me, but I will deal with their bosses”
The NDC Deputy General Secretary added that the NDC grassroots appreciate their efforts and sacrifices.
Mustapha Gbande further warned people tarnishing the image of Joseph Yamin.
