George Opoku Amponsah, a member of the Kennedy Agyapong camp, has withdrawn from the team to pursue another candidate.
In a statement issued by George Opoku Amponsah, he stated, “I regret to inform you of my decision to withdraw as a member of Team Ken Communications, effective immediately.
This decision bears no malice against Team Ken, but ultimately intended to firmly establish my unalloyed allegiance and loyalty to a NEW ASPIRANT in the impending presidential primaries of the New Patriotic Party”, he added.
George Opoku Amponsah was part of the Kennedy Agyapong team that lost to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President of Ghana.
The information gathered, however not confirmed, suggest George Opoku Amponsah left the Kennedy Agyapong team to join the Dr Mahamudu Bawumia camp.
