George Oti Bonsu, a financier of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has recounted how the former Assin Central member of parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, saved his business from collapsing.
According to George Oti Bonsu, some years ago, he was evicted from his former place, but Kennedy Agyapong’s intervention saved him and his company from collapsing.
He emphasised that Kennedy Agyapong’s kind gesture towards him has ingratiated him to his heart.
Speaking to a group of NPP supporters, Oti Bonsu stated, “I had my business at Tesano, but when my time was due and I had to vacate the land, I couldn’t find one easily, so I moved to Spintex, where my factory is presently located”.
“When it became clear that the two of us paid for the same piece of land, Ken tapped me on my shoulder and asked what exactly I wanted to do with the land, and I told him a factory”. He said.
“He then turned to me and said, I wanted to take you to court, but if this is what you intend to do, then I have dropped the court case,” he added.
In a related story, Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun, a Ghanaian preacher and prophet, has once again reiterated that the former Assin Central lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong, will become the next flagbearer of the NPP.
The Prophet revealed he had a vision of July 20th, 2025, showing a journey of two men travelling toward the same destination on different roads.
He recounted that one was followed by a huge convoy in golden vehicles on a smooth and impressive road, while the other travelled on a dusty road in an old car.
Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun stated, “What you have seen is a shadow of things to come”.
“Kennedy Agyapong shall become the flagbearer of his party. His path may seem slow and unglamorous, but it is ordained”, he boldly declared.
He further revealed his vision warned those who rely on numbers, influence, and appearance will ultimately fall, saying, “trusted in flesh and not in the counsel of the Lord.”
Meanwhile, the NPP officially opened nominations for presidential primaries, setting nomination forms at GH¢ 100,000 and a filing fee at GH¢ 500,000.
Justin Kodua Frimpong made this known on Tuesday, July 29.
The NPP primaries are heating up with the main front runners for the NPP’s flagbearer position, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, former Assin Central MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, former Minister for Agriculture Bryan Acheampong, and former Minister for Education Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum.
Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has entered the NPP’s flagbearership race. Abronye has also hinted at his desire to enter the race.
