Apostle Francis Amoako Atta, the founder of Parliament Chapel International, has opened up on his recent encounter with the late music icon Daddy Lumba.
According to Prophet Amoako Atta, when he met Daddy Lumba, he gave him 21 days to live on earth.
The man of God revealed that the late music icon could not walk when he came to his church.
Apostle Amoako Atta added that Daddy Lumba’s remaining days on earth were only by grace.
Speaking in an interview on July 28, 2025, Apostle Amoako Atta stated, “When Daddy came to me, he couldn’t walk. He was in a very bad state. I gave him 21 days”.
“Daddy has made such an impact that we need to celebrate him. When I met him, I immediately knew his remaining days on earth were only by grace”, Prophet Amoako Atta added.
The man of God added, “Since then, I knew it was by grace. The rest of his life was not about strength or medicine. It was grace”.
Daddy Lumba passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a short illness at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra.
The family of the late Daddy Lumba released an official statement through his official Facebook page and confirming his passing.
Part of the statement read, “With profound sorrow and deep grief, the Fosu family announces the passing of Ghana’s beloved musical icon, Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, who passed away earlier today, Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a short illness”.
However, another man of God Prophet Ajagurajah, the spiritual leader and head of the Ajagurajah Movement, has alleged that human error killed Daddy Lumba.
According to Ajagurajah, Daddy Lumba’s time was not up, and there was no spiritual hand in his death.
He boldly emphasised that human error was the cause of the iconic music legend.
Speaking in a viral video, Ajagurajah stated, “What killed Daddy Lumba was not caused by any spirit. It was human error.
Daddy Lumba’s time was not up; no spirit killed Daddy Lumba, human error did. I spoke to the wife today”.
