A market woman at the Ahafo Goaso Market has boldly stated that Ghana is going through serious hardship under President John Dramani Mahama.
According to the market woman, they prefer NPP because they were not paying fees, and their businesses were even booming without taking loans.
Speaking to the media, the Ahafo Goaso Market woman stated, “Ghana is going through serious hardships. The current government is not helping.
We prefer the NPP because we didn’t pay school fees under their administration, and our businesses were booming even without taking loans.”
“Under the NDC, nothing has been reduced, and we are now struggling to afford proper meals, we’re just eating banku every day”, she added.
However, a new poll by Global InfoAnalytics has revealed that President John Dramani Mahama maintains overwhelming public confidence in his economic management.
According to the Global InfoAnalytics survey, 74% of Ghanaians approve of Mahama’s handling of the economy.
Mahama’s job creation efforts also scored a 67% of respondents, with 22% disapproving. On the fight against galamsey, the government’s approach scored 65% with 24% not satisfied with the illegal mining fight.
Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have shared their thoughts by saying, “It’s always these people. It’s always them”.
“I keep saying Mahama should treat Ghanaians like Nana Addo did. Borrow too much, take inflation back to 50, etc. Ghanaians don’t deserve a good leader”, another stated.
“I swear Akuffo Addo sef won’t agree and will be laughing”, another Ghanaian added.
One more X user added, “People who are on the grounds understand what this woman is saying… So sit on social media and fanfool yourself.. people are going through hardships..”
Additionally, another Ghanaian added, “I knew it would be a market woman from a typical NPP area. Never objective, never honest. It’s always about their party interest and never about Ghana. So you, who gave her the microphone and posted this here, don’t you feel any shame?”
