Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, has been convicted by the Circuit Court in Accra.
According to reports, the Chief priestess turned evangelist was convicted for engaging in charlatanic advertising and defrauding by false pretences.
Reports suggest the charges stem from a televised advertisement she aired in 2022.
In the ad, Agradaa claimed she possessed the power to double the money for her congregants at the Godsway International Heaven Church, misleading them into surrendering their money during an all-night church service at her Weija-based ministry in Accra.
Meanwhile, Nana Agradaa has been taken to the hospital for a pregnancy test before the Judge sentences her.
In recent news, Agradaa was among the clergy who graced the National Day of Prayer and stated she was deeply moved by both the message of the event and her interaction with the President.
Speaking to the media after the event, Agradaa stated, “I’m really excited to be here, especially because I got to see the President in person. What he has done is beautiful.
It shows he has a vision for the country and cares about where Ghana is heading. I even had the chance to hug him today, and honestly, even if I don’t make it to heaven, I feel fulfilled,” she said.
